I have some great (IMHO!) USAF Cold War 1950s press-type photos. This photo shows shows a North American B-45 Tornado bomber with a Boeing KB-29 tanker. The B-45 was America's first operational jet bomber, and the first jet to be refueled in midair. It served from 1950-59.

This photo shows airmen saluting a two star General, in front of what appears to be a Douglas DC-6 or C-118 Liftmaster. I am guessing it's not a DC-4 or a C-54 Skymaster, because the distance from the wing to the nose looks a bit short. I would appreciate any advice on this please!Attached Files
