Nice things seem to come in pairs for me. Yesterday this nice early copper NCO came in. The sword is in about as nice condition as as the other copper type 95 that came in a few weeks back ("Lucky" serial number 13). This new sword is also a low number with matching number 71.
The sword was posted about a year ago on another forum. At that time the leather sarute was still attached at one end. When it came in yesterday the sarute was broken off and in a plastic bag. The owner had been keeping the sword it in a knit Cabelas gun sock. Going in and out of that gun sock must have been the death of the sarute. Oh well at least he still had it.
This one is another keeper for me.
