Obtained this nice hinomaru yesterday from vet's son. It has envelope and letter that it was mailed home in. Need help with any translation that can be done in addition to approx. value. thanks Exc shap, approx. 28x32"

I do not see a recipient's name which is usually as large as the main motto.

I cannot read the other one.

above the sun, at the cardinal points, is a Shinto "charm" called Sa-Mu-Ha-Ra. These are special shinto "kanji" and are not listed in the online dictionary. Here is what it looks like:
