All the other writing looks like the signatures of well-wishers.

This is a different spelling of Nagoya, not to be confused with the "regular" 名古屋 Nagoya ... according to Wiki, this 那古野 Nagoya shrine is located in 名古屋 Nagoya City.

Yes, two different seals for two different Shinto Shrines.

No, that sort of intelligence would be a breach of security. Sometimes you might find a hometown or school location, but not a military unit.
The only hint on your flag would be the two shrine stamps ... in Nagoya .

Ha agree, I understand. It is true that it makes sense. I know at least the name of his original owner, and that he was given to him for his departure in battle. I would have liked to know whether it was infantry or air force or other, but so much the worse. This is already good, thank you.
