    Top of sun:
    皇軍全勝
    Kōgun Zenshō
    Imperial Army Total Victory

Circle seal from the Atsuta Shrine:
    (武運 -- 熱田神宮 -- 長久)
    Bu'un -- Atsuta Jingu -- Chōkyū
Continued Luck -- Atsuta Shrine -- Fortunes of War

    Right of sun:
    贈岩田鎭三郎君
    Zō Iwata Shinzaburō-kun
    Gift [to] Mr. Iwata Shinzaburō

    Left of sun:
    武運長久
    Bu'un Chōkyū
Continued Luck in the Fortunes of War

All the other writing looks like the signatures of well-wishers.

If you can get a clear photo of the vertical seal I'll try to read it.

This is the current shrine seal used for visitors:

Very nice flag. Well filled with characters, balanced and pleasing to the eye.

        Regards,
        Stu

              Great!

              [ 那古野神社 ]
              Nagoya Jinja
              Nagoya Shrine

This is a different spelling of Nagoya, not to be confused with the "regular" 名古屋 Nagoya ... according to Wiki, this 那古野 Nagoya shrine is located in 名古屋 Nagoya City.

Yes, two different seals for two different Shinto Shrines.

                  Nice flag!

Thank you, I am happy to know more about this flag. Do you see an indication of the troops in which he could be?

No, that sort of intelligence would be a breach of security. Sometimes you might find a hometown or school location, but not a military unit.
The only hint on your flag would be the two shrine stamps ... in Nagoya .

Ha agree, I understand. It is true that it makes sense. I know at least the name of his original owner, and that he was given to him for his departure in battle. I would have liked to know whether it was infantry or air force or other, but so much the worse. This is already good, thank you.
