i now the leather for closing is missing and the sarute,,

is this a good type sword to put on mine tropical officier ?

Kō-shū Seki jū Kanetsugu Saku

13th & 14th entries are two Showa-era smiths named Kanetsugu who worked out of Gifu [Noshu]: Maekawa Gen'ichi and Maekawa Yoshiki. Which one made your sword???

I also found another Kanetsugu here; it does not mention where he lived:

[継 is a shortened form of 繼]

3: 優秀 = Superior, excellent
The levels of the competition were

Think it will be Noshu Seki ju Kanetsugu saku.

Sho stamped arsenal non-traditionally made sword. Late war, poor fittings. One of the many Seki smiths producing arsenal swords during the war.
It is oil quenched, and not Gendaito. It is ok for display, probably for around $750 or so?
