WWII Japanese Imperial Armyattack team Uniform

    camo Uniform

    Hello,
Nice cap mate but I am not confident about the camo pattern of the vest.
It reminds me a cupman fake that he sold month/year (?) ago via ebay. He called it Giretsu Kūteitai uniform.

I had seen this tunic a year before in Japan, it was sold by a history museum of Japan.
I think this tunic is original.

Both tunics are originals but camo in my opinion is not original. If there isn't an issued, handwritten owners name on interior I'd be 100% certain it's a fake of copy. Even with they both look horrible. I know two facts. 1) they were camouflaged while worn so they were certainly issued, named, worn tunics 2) they used black ink as camo

the second fact that you said, like the black ink as camo that I can show you a pic.
but the camo of tunic in the pic is real fake one.

I would only trust a well worn, named & issued tunic. The use of black ink as camo is common knowledge & just as easily faked

Not much sense in repeating all that has been said already.

I suppose you don't read Japanese? Your tunic in no way matches the description in the book you copied in post 4.
Like your heavy duty helmet, when an item departs from the officially recognized specs by so much, no one can take the item seriously without some rock solid provenance.

I am not gonna argue with you about my duty helmet, I known the helmet is a type 98 ,because some this kind of duty helmets were duged in
                  china battle field.
about this camo tunic I also want not argue with you.

I don't know how you can believe a helmet bought at a store (that is what it means to have a commercial tag in it) can be a type 98 just because similar ones were dug up. In that case, Germany also has a lot of nice type 98s; only we call them simply potatoes here.

I have no idea if your tunic is a fake / copy / repro / Original but I can say that the rank insignia it displays are upside-down and that always rings alarm bells. when worn the point of the star should be uppermost.

                      All the best

                      Paul
