I was thinking of purchasing this sword to display with my screen-worn "Windtalkers" uniform but decided to wait and get input first and become a little more knowledgeable before buying one. In the meantime, I would like to get opinions about this one.
This was the description:
Pre-1945 Japanese Type-95 NCO shin gunto Kokura Tokyo marked fuchi, number 58327, with matching olive green saya, aluminum tsuka, bronze tsuba.
Even though the description says "Pre-1945" is it safe to consider this a WWII era sword?
