IMO, value depends on the photo. It seems like the little things within the photo can determine what interest collectors have in purchasing the photo and to what lengths they will go to in adding the photo to their collection. I think that I see a reservists pin on the uniform of one soldier. Things like that capture the attention of some collectors and some might be looking for particular pins, badges, etc. Are there any markings on the backs of the photos, intelligence stamps, etc.? These might increase the value of the photos a little bit. All in all I would think that IJA photos sell for a few dollars per photo, IJN pics., a little more. Again, it all depends on the photo. If that group of sailors has an SNLF unit on their cap tallies, value will be very different compared to them just having Imp. Japanese Navy on their tallies.

I buy and sell a lot of photos. The average portrait photo like most of these goes for about $3-5 normally (what I sell them for anyway), as George mentioned, just some little bit of insignia or gear can make a small or big difference in the value. The sword collectors love to have a good portrait with a sword shown clearly for example. It's hard to find a photo showing someone with his pistol out, so those can sell for a lot. After all, if you own the pistol wouldn't it be great to have a photo of someone using it?

Please see this recent thread where we discuss why you need close up and clear photos if you want to ask for translation help.
I do see a March 1943 date on the bottom picture of the first group though. Most of the rest looks like names.
