Awesome lid Scott, especially with the Iwo provenance..however since you're an IJN/NLF guy, and not really an IJA guy, I think you should consider selling it to me Todd

I could have sworn that I remembered being told this helmet was from Iwo. I was informed that it was in fact captured on Okinawa. It was a long time ago when I was told this. At any rate it is a killer untouched helmet. I have some documentation coming soon on this one. Thanks for the kind words buddy.

Thanks GHolp, that is actually a tri color body net folded and used as a helmet net in this case. First time I have ever seen this done.

Scott, this is also the first example I have seen using such a large section of the body net..I have owned and seen a few with field made nets fashioned from their cut down body nets, but never any like this. I also see that there is some foliage still attatched amongst all that netting. Very cool camo helmet! Todd

At first i thought it is several regular helmet nets or some kind of three colour helmet net, then after seeing the
inside of the helmet with the large amount of netting i thought it could be a body net. I think this is my favourite
                            helmet now
Please do not post more pictures, i might die from envy
