i have talked to him on the phone and he says that he's taken it to many shows and many dagger collectors have said it is different but looks to be good.

      this is the address:
      http://www.germaniainternational.com/axis3.html

it's half way down the page.

          Hungarian Dagger

Hi Gregory. You do not show the blade but I am confident it will have the gold hungarian crest on it. This is a known fake (copy to be polite) of a dagger that was completely unheard of until about a year ago. I have discussed this with Kurt Glemser and he is in agreement. We posted photos of this dagger on other web sites but missed this one. The Hungarians are turning out numerous daggers using original dies and their Air Force daggers are becoming better than the originals. I.e. in the 10 or so years they have been putting them out, they have eliminated most of the tell tale signs.

          Just my opinion

ya i have found out it is a fake and have contacted the seller and he said it was on consignment and is now marking it as a post was reproduction, he wanted 500.00 for it.....
also i contacted the author of the above e-mail address and he got a laugh out of it as well.

DO NOT BUY From Central European Military Antiques

DO NOT BUY FROM CENTRAL EUROPEAN MILITARY ANTIQUES !!!

please see other threads on CEMA and Van Lauessen.

I promise you you will lose money from this thief. I reported him to the FBI etc
he stole £500 via a mythical transaction and addmitted to not sending the goods.

              BUYER BEWARE

                Fantasy Dagger

Here are a couple of more shots I took at the last SOS show. Sorry about the quality of the photos. I had to use a flash at the dealers table.

The whole "paratrooper's dagger" thing is just fantasy.
