This is a great slot , I'm planning to expand my ww1 collection which has pretty much been mothballed . My knowledge of today's fakes is behind the times to say the least , so I'm hoping for a bit of guidance from you blokes . In the meantime look at this horror . Am I right in saying this has been heavily garnished . The price of a real prussian guards would be upwards of 3K . Does anyone think as I do that the shell could be original ? the wappan fits very snugly where as they usually protrude with the leather shrinkage .

The neck flap is loose even though the stitching is complete you can lift up and even back down past the point it should naturally sit at
