M16 with interesting camo pattern

Here's an M16 helmet with an uncommon variant of camo I picked up a while ago. It has the complete liner including the cushions and drawstring as well as the original brass mounted chinstrap.

The rear apron is inscribed in grease pencil with "Gefr. Osw. Naumann, 4./245 I Batl."

The well-known period picture at the bottom shows helmets painted in a very similar pattern.
