    Guys,
    what do you think about this tunic?
    Armeestand/Gendarmerie/Sanitätstruppe ?
    In some photos we can see, that the colour of the material is not black but "dunkelgrün".

    Appears to be an artillery tunic to me; dark green with red cuffs & collar.

      Nope, artillery tunics were dark brown and had different buttons.

        IMO sanitatstruppen. Looks like a nice original uniform. Replace the medals dough.

          Whats wrong with the medals? I think that one is missing (probably silver Tapferkeitsmedaille I/IIkl.)

            The medals are original but for ordinary soldiers and NCO. This is tunic is for officers and probably dates from just before the war. I would expect for example a red cross medal, signum laudis on red band, VK on red band, 1913 mobilization and perhaps some 1898 and 1908 jubilee medal/cross or something like this.
            If the owner was promoted to officer during the war the small silver medal and vound medal would make sense, but only in late 1918 or postwar.

              I think that the owner of this tunic was promoted to Leutnant during the war. If he was an NCO awarded with a Tapferkeitmedaille he was able to be assigned to some of the "war officer courses". IMO these are attached originally.
              In addition it's clearly visible that the "Laeso militi" was added later.
              Here is another example of the Sanitatstruppe tunic.

                They could be original to the tunic ...
                The Oberstleutnant looks great but the small silver medal is not from this guy for shure. Not many NCO became Oberstleutnant during ww1 also, swords on bravery medal

                      I would like to add a note to the fine uniform posted by Major02: an Oberstleutnant couldn't be decorated with a Bronzene Tapferkeitsmedaille: this was given to ranks from soldiers up to Fähnriche and its ribbon never had swords.

                          Here is the recent photo of the tunic on mannequin.
                          The colour of material is black, not dunkelgrunn. What do you think about army branch of this officer? Armeestand for sure or maybe Gendarmerie/Auditoren? (the tunic was produced in 1913).

                            It could be Auditoren, on te other hand it could also be an infantry regiment. In this case the cloth schould be dark blue, but black (or very, very dark blue) was used from time to time.
                            In any case, If the blouse was made in 1913 the bravery medal si not original to it for shure.

                              And what about Armeestand? Is it possible?
                              So we have following options:

                              -Armeestand
                              -Auditoren
                              -IR45, IR37

                              Am I right?
