            Reviving this thread to say what an interesting journey. OP didn't have the slightest idea where to start when wanting to put together a display, then ended with tons of gear. I wonder where his display is at now.

            I've started my own journey towards putting together a mannequin, recently bought an M15 Bluse and have some other pieces of gear. this thread is a great resource.

              after many years of messing around with zeltbahn etc backgrounds I found my solution last week.... 2 beams, 10 rough planks and 20 screws... and Bobs your aunt...... my basement display.... st1.jpg
