    1910 EM tunic photos?

I sold my repro 1915 Bluse on Ebay and am on the hunt for a reproduction replacement but going with the early war 1910 Waffenrock.

Was wondering if any of you could post some photos of your originals so I can make comparisons to decide what vendor to go with?

Are you looking for a pure M07 or an M07/13 (Landsturmschnitt)? And do you want infantry or...? Not that I have all these, just curious.

With re enacting really there is only the early war tunic, the transitional and the 1915 bluse.

Anyway I got my eye on one from shipper's and one from Hessian Antique. What looks better to you?

Any tunic I'd order however would lack the blue on the cuff.

            Sorry William
Cant help you out, I sold my originals long ago. Dumb Eric!
The Tunic on the left Some guys do wear Schipper jobs at the
gigs, There ok, I guess, but I dont like the collars.
Whichever Tunic you buy get one slightly bigger than your size and LONG.
In original photos M10,s usually look a bit on the big side for the wearer.
Get away from that geeky rookie look and apply some Gun Blue to the buttons
just slit a piece of card to not get it on the cloth, then wipe with a damp cloth.
Pics of my favorite repop made by the lady who used to work for Keller at GWM before she retired. She was the Best.

Will do when I get one. Hessian Antique is not making them for another few weeks.

The placement of the buttons on the Brandenburg cuff is a bit off on both of the tunics you have shown. The placement on Eric's example is more what it should be. The collar tips are too pointed as well. Here is what it should look like.

I like Erics Great War Militaria tunic but they charge like 500 bucks. Maybe I could order one and have additional tailoring done.

Once the collar is cut, you would have to live with it or replace the complete collar. So perhaps it's not worth the trouble to fix this detail.

                        hello Eric

Your repro is a very good job, certainly one of the best. It's shade that lhe lady's was retired.

How does the Current GWM tunics compare to the first two I posted?

                            There ok W
Keller tries hard to get the right wool.
Our unit commander just got one after much searching around.
Iam going to see about getting the collar altered on mine.
If you buy one, double stitch the buttons they go flying when your playing.

GWM wants over 400 for a tunic and I can get one for 160 at Hessian. While a repro is a repro anything but an original is a repro.

I see no justification for the higher cost tunic for somethig i only wear once a year if i am lucky.

Is the Brandenburg Cuff correct for a regular Prussian infantry unit?

                              W.
