OMG I found a private purchess 1915 tunic and a red piped field pants on a site someone recommended when I asked about US field gear. To get both pices would run just short of 6 grand.

Wish I had an extra 6 grand

No problem! It looks like your trousers once had the same little additional pouch on the right rear (what was this for, anybody knows?), but sewn closed?
