    What are the chances?

Here's my question. Did a Hauptm dR Zeidler with the LGR 100 recieve the St. Henry Order during WW1? Here's the dilema. I have a named tunic with a St. Henry Order ribbon on the buttonhole and was identified as Arno Fiedler, who was a St. Henry recipient in 1915 as an oberleutnant dR. The tunic is dated 1911 and the rank in the label is a hauptman dR. The rank on the tunic is for a hauptman, and the boards are prior to 1915. These discrepancies bothered me, so I took the tunic off his form this morning and checked the label and then checked my 1914 Saxon ranglist. Aside from finding Obrlt dR Fiedler, I also found a Hauptm Zeidler; BOTH from LGR 100. It appears to me that on the tunic label shows "ei" vs "ie" in this chaps name, but I would like to get some other opinions from you all. Anything you can find is much appreciated.

I'll ask again. Does any one have any information on a Hauptm Zeidler, LGR 100. I know from the 1914 saxon rangliste he recieved a Saxe-Ernestine house order knights badge, 1st class.

      Update

      Wie gehts:
With a little research and some PM help, the name in my saxon tunic gets a short, but interesting resolution. The tunic is named to Hauptmn Hans Zeidler. He recieved his leutnant's patent on 10/24/94 in JR 103. He recieved his patent as a captain on 5/22/08 while serving in LGR 100, and was awarded the Saxe-Ernsteine House Order knights badge 1st class. From the regimental history of LGR 100 he was the commander of the 2nd company at the start of hostilities in 1914, and ultimately was a batallion commander by September of that year. He is shown as one of the initial EK2 recipients for the regiment for the fighting at Bertoncourt, on 8/30/14. He recieved the Albert Order w/ swords on 10/31/14, and at some time around here, he is transfered to Res JR 243. He was wounded at Frezenberg, on 5/11/15. He was awarded the EK1 on 5/16/15. He died in a hospital on 7/21/15. Assuming he was around 20 when he recieved his first patent, he would have been around 40 when he died. Here are a couple of photos of the tunic.
