It should say Luftkampf instead of “Luftkamf”

Yes but that is no problem. The real problem is that it is misspelled on the cup.

This reminds me of a boxed cup that sold recently on eBay . I think the cup was ok just a shot/toasting cup with the abteilung number on but the guy had obviously tried to sex it up a bit more by putting it in an oversized and poorly painted box with ‘ Dem Sieger im luftkamp’ on the side . Went for silly money ,I pity the buyer when he realises the obvious mistake !

Now that's a painful mistake in the word 'luftkampf'
If you compare the quality of original, engraved imperial items with the work on this goblet… absolutely terrible.
I hope your friend did not pay too much.

That's a nice looking Becher, can you post images of the hallmarks? It appears the recipient is wearing the Air Gunner Badge, is this correct?

Still waiting on detailed images, or is this one of those 'I'm only on here to sell stuff' posts?

Meybauer made? I was under the impression that Godet produced the early silver ones. Could you please provide the source of your information? This is news to me..

AFAIK Juncker made the award pieces.

The picture is the source of the information - see attached optimized clipping.
He probably bought it for use on his TR-Uniform...
But speaking of "news to me":
Where did you get the "Godet-Story" from? Do you have any - fullsize - WW1 flight badge (or a photo of one) with a makers mark, case or paperwork that can relate it to the Godet firm? Or at least a quote from a book (other than Baldes), a magazine or a forum post?
                              That would be really interesting!
