Guys, does anyone have something similiar to this one, please?

    Thank you!

Interesting medal bar. The RM looks like an award piece, but of course weight and dimensions would be important in determining authenticity.

Perhaps you should post it on the Third Reich Medals Forum for better responses. It doesn't really belong here.

There was bit of lack on opinions and the medal is more pre war item in fact!

          Thank you so far!

That is most likely true but i have seen award documents during the war too… without further information about the recipient, hard to tell. A genuine medal non the less.

I just won the medal bar in an auction from a very trusted local seller. So I will upload more pictures soon!

                    medal

It was the late 1980's or so and I was interviewing a former Nebelwerfer major in n. Germany. He arranged an impromptu visit with another old Werfer veteran in the same town and I drove over to see him with high hopes. He had also been an NCO pre-war and a Fahnentraeger in a Nebel Abteilung. In the course of our conversation he mentioned having earned the Lifesaving medal and proceeded to bring it out for my inspection. I don't recall asking him about when or under what circumstances he earned it and we got back to other topics. The medal was loose along with a length of unused ribbon and the bag it came in and had the same look of perhaps some silver content as yours. If he had earned it pre-war or by 1940 I could imagine it would have possibly been mounted on a bar along with an EK 2 and who knows what else. My hope was that he had saved a souvenir patch from the right sleeve of his Waffenrock, but I was disappointed in that. The only other item he still had was a sword which his grandson was very interested in inheriting. He was one of only two Fahnentraeger I ever got to meet.

I love Lifesaving Medals and the one on that bar is spectacular. I have some Lifesaving Medals, but all of my TR versions are unmounted.
