    1914 EKII Prinzen

Could someone please post pics here for reference before they disappear from ebay. Discuss it too, only saw this version a couple times before. On it's way to Sweden but will not be able to see it for another year or so as "indisposed in Philippines" at the moment.

The core does not match either my Deumer or my Meybauer.
I cropped and enlarged the picture to try and get better details----

In my opinion it could be a KMST Prinzen.

Greg> Yes, this is another maker, no match to the known ones.

Trev> Thanks for pics, def a match. Any info on the KMST connection? Need to dig up a HDD with the Prinzen files on.

One that seeks, finds, Lee's got a non mag core.

Truth is, I did some thinking and research about it years ago, concluded that it could be KMST, then forgot why.

It's actually a good reminder to write it down in a thread! when I have some theory that I think merits discussion.

Probably has to do with the design of the core, maybe especially the oakleaves?

I admit, there are some similarities in design, but on the other hand, it is the poorest of all known 1914 Prinzens in the means of quality.
Can´t quite believe that the producer of those high-end full size EK1 ladders and mouse traps would go out with this - if memory serves me well - zincer onepiecer.

Thanks, one u posted also got a non mag core? They share similarities with 20-30's Deumers and AWS Prinzens. Copper alloy frames, post assy paint touch up, not "regular looking crowns" & non mag cores. Wonder if they also come in Silver versions. Can't remember seeing KMST or DRGM catalogues with Prinzens in.

Also first remembered it as a 'one piece' but think that was due to connecting "sloppy paint on frames" with a one piece. Something they share with non mag Deumer and AWS Prinzen.

Some are made in 3 pieces at least but no idea yet if my find is 1 or 3 piece.

Lee's got plated copper alloy frames, maybe one Trev posted too?

I think these are all three-piecers but I could be wrong because I've never held one.

                              Correction. Lee had them.
