            I'm NOT an expert on 1870 ek's , but I don't like these.

I think they were made recently in Latvia, but I hop I am wrong...

              Both are 9th bead Fakes.

Unfortunately I expected it and I was expecting confirmation
                Thanks !

Are these fakes always 3-parts and have an iron core?

I found such an old discussion about this fakes:
                http://184.172.36.50/forums/showthre...d+Fakes&page=2

It follows that "Bad Crown fake" = "9th bead fake", and initially, this type of 1870's cross was identified as a FAKE only on the basis of "Niemann's week fake" ... interesting

These are Bad crown fakes both, not Ninth Bead fakes.

At the end of the day, both are fakes, this is most important to know and say.

These two crosses 1870 from the below thread are my crosses.

Here is a brief history of their origin.
One of these crosses I bought in January 2015 in the shop “House of History” by Kai Winkler’s, the second cross I bought in December 2014 in the shop of Ralf Gantzel “Militaria-Agent”. This second cross was described as: “Prussia Iron Cross 1870 made from the turn of the century”
I admit that at the moment when I bought these crosses, I had no idea about the imperial crosses, I was interested only by crosses EK2-1939 ...
I bought these crosses as an opportunity (I believed the dealers descriptions are enough), I put them in the drawer, and I forgot about them ...
In the last year I became more interested in the imperial crosses and I remembered my crosses 1870.
I began to compare them with the "standard" crosses of 1870 and suddenly I realized that with my crosses not everything was fine... and I made sure that are fakes, in our forum.
I also contacted my lawyer and asked him if the purchase time of these crosses (a few years back) is relevant and if can I advertise it ?
He said that the decorations are like works of art. Their originality is defined indefinitely (for life), not for one year or for 2 years. Therefore, at any time the badge sold as original, if found to be a fake, we can and should be to advertised them.
The basis of the complaint is proof of the purchase of these badges. Fortunately, I have bills of buy these crosses 1870.
I have written complaints to both sellers.
With Mr. Winkler we did a short discussion and the complaint was acknowledged. This fact, in my opinion, testifies to the high level of this seller.

On the other hand, from the Military-Agent, despite sending 2-mails, zero response and any reaction (positive or negative). Silence!
This is also something to prove ... My lawyer is proposing to take over this matter ... I will see ...
What are the implications of this story - everyone makes mistakes, and buyers and sellers, it is important to learn from these mistakes and be able to go out with them (with personal class !)

                              Regards
                              Jarek
