Wense
Paul,
I found three von der Wense in the 1866 Hannoverian Rangliste. Two were retired after that campaign which leaves Premier-Lieutenant F. von der Wense of the Leib-Regiment. He transferred to Prussian Infantry Regiment Nr. 42. He is shown as an Hauptmann and company commander of 3./42 in 1872. He retired as a Major (before 1891) and was still alive and living in Hannover in 1901.
Regards
Glenn
