    I recently bought this beautiful black patina screwdisc silver EK I with the inscription "Deutscher Offizier Verein".

    I noticed there are a few different screw nuts with or without this description.
    So for an easy compare I made this overview.

                      oh man there is so much info ,,,,

                      helmets ,epaulets ,dagger swords ,pickelhaube,uniforms ,,,,,you name it ..

                      its was THE place for high profile officers to buy there equipment,

                        Very nice and interesting.....I can see and read, you are also interested in the DOV history!

                        I want to restrict myself, in the first instance, to the screw nut crosses with or without inscription "DOV". But most certainly I will read and study yours and other contributions of this interesting officer association!
