Impressive Austro-Hungarian Lot

I saw these go up for auction a few days ago. I was really tempted to bid on them given where they came from. I doubt they are fakes given the relatively high quality of the pieces. They sold for $1,700 for the whole lot. Should I have bid...?

IMO cheap. The Order of Franz Joseph officer's cross alone is quite scarce, especially cased. The Austrian red cross officer's pin-back cross is also hard to find. Those two pieces alone are probably worth the price and more.

Agree! Very nice pieces for real bargain. There's also Bulgarian civil merit cross, neck order, worth IMHO another 4-500, don't know about Hungarian red cross award and Maltese cross. Could be a grouping of WW1 doctor (higher ranked) that worked in Balkan area, hence awards from Bulgaria and Prussia.
