Thanks, that is an interesting badge that I hope to examine in person one day.

This one is currently on ebay. It appears to be a freshly minted Juncker fake.

The reverse- note, this must be a latter made piece. See how the die for the maker mark has lost some letters/parts of letters.

Can anyone make out what is stamped on the reverse?

Another by the same maker only without the cloth. The badge is hollow stamped.

                          Hi,
Since I have no real badge, I had like to post this very nice feldpostkarte from a member of the MG Scharfschützen Abt. 15.

Very nice AJ. Can you post a larger pic of the badge?

                              Don,

are you really sure that #203 is original? The condition "half new/ half rusty under the paint" surprises me.

                              Regards
                              Gilles

203 and 205 are from the same maker. Note that you can find the beginnings of the serious flaws on the latter. It is definately not rusting away. I think thier die gave out and they used it until then end. Stamping steel can cause alot of wear on the die.

I have taken 205 apart and it is a hollow stamped badge. The reverse does not exhibit the flaws of the obverse.

Perhaps the reason the one still has the paper is because it was so horrible looking it was not issued or worn.
