I just got this STONE MINT cross from an ancient collection. The tiny flecks are from the scanner. The enamel is a PERFECT, mirror finish with NO flaws. I am in love. Ah, 1870...

I feel this is an underappreciated award. They do come up now and again. In the last year Detlev has had two, and I know Weitze has a couple on his site. They often have enamel damage, so make sure to look for that.
