I haven't been able to find a navy officer with the name Fleming. The closest is Hans-Curt Flemming. (with double m and not like yours) He was on L13, L55 and L60.

Here is a little of what I know!

These belonged to a shop keeper who was murdered maybe 10 or 15 years ago!

A auction was held and my friend was able to attend and the amount of stuff was tremendous!


Much of the stuff was in plastic or sealed with notes and prices from way back.

We believe these might have been from a jewelry store and used as a display since both
badges are similar!

Entire salesmans knots in plastic were sold and other stuff which might lend info!

My friend did not know knots and and did not purchase them as prices went higher than he knew!

I have some other info that I can not mention yet!

We think the vet went in store and removed much

I also got a rare SS Puma dagger which is only the second ever found for that maker!

One person has looked at these badges and has
given some info and a serious bid for navy badge!

One thing in any hobby is judge the item not the story but this is what I have so far!

I asked my friend to let me check and dig for more info!

This forum is very well versed in medals and badges and would like to see where this leads!

I don't wish to tell more at this time so as not to
use names interested.

But I am curious as a collector and friend of owner!


I have shown both badges together even though
others would not!
