    Navy Airship badge!

    I wanted to post some pics of this Navy Zeppelin
    badge for airship L 11.

    I have been reading up on these badges and the history of the airship!

    I must admit quite a bit of info available!

    So I will post some pics of this airship badge!

    And then tell what I know and found out!

                            I know nothing about these ... but ... my stupid unrelated question ... where did you get that little plastic thingie that the medal sits in? I've seen them before from various posters, and would like to get one for picture taking purposes.

                              There are so much fakes of this badge around, its really hard to say, which one are real and which one are not. Can anyone provide a picture of one of these badges with provenance? I would die for to see an undoubtely real one.
