                    Gentlemen,
                    I would like to revive this post, as I have some new information relevant to it.

                    I have acquired part of this grouping (see: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ad.php?t=91834 ), and recently received the fieldgrey greatcoat shown in Mark´s penultimarte pic, underneath the prewar style greatcoat (see next four pics).

                    In the inner pocket of that coat I found a nametag which, as is not uncommon for items coming from the family, had the name struck out ......................

                              It struck me that it might be possible to remove the marker using a solvent used to dilute acrylic paints. And indeed, some very careful swipes with a cotton swap moistened with the solvent concerned did the trick, revealing the name of the original owner ...................

                                My compliments to Glenn2438, who had identified Freiherr Louis (Traugott, in later Rangliste) Leuckart von Weissdorf as a possible owner of the grouping. The label confirms the correctness of that assesment.
