    Is this a real 1870 Iron Cross 2nd class? Thanks for any opinions.

                I've seen one. Either Saxon, or added. Obviously no 1870 EK2 would be on an Austrian mount

                          Some went to England and Russia, if I remember correctely, so I can at least imagine there were also some Austrian officers who got it. But I'd never pay a bonus for that, unless it comes with water proof documentation.

                            next,, they combine it with a 25 oack and the throe wagner repeating spange .

                            the cross is already sold as original on ebay .

                            we gone see a lot combinations of them now some doubts of the fakedness came up.


                            I would say (knowing the marked ) a 6 place (or so) Spange with such a cross will appear next
