Hessian Belt Buckle found in russia with initials? Help?

Hello everyone, I originally posted this belt buckle in the Axis forum believing that this was a WW2 Romanian Belt Buckle but after doing some research, I found out that this was a Hessian Belt Buckle. I got this buckle belt from a friend who lived around Volgograd. She said she was out for a walk when she found this belt buckle. She was thinking that I would be interested in it. After cleaning it up, On the bottom of the Belt Buckle, there are a pair of initials. I was wondering if anyone happen to know what these letters are? I am guessing DB but I could be wrong. Since I am not familiar with the Old Germanic Script.

P.S. Where there any Hessian Regiments on the Eastern Front? Could the Belt Buckle come from maybe a German Veteran who wore it during WW2?

The letters could be "U G" or "A G". I can't see if the first letter above is open than it could be "U" or

closed than it could be the letter "A".

It's close at the top. So it is AG, Thank you. You wouldn't happen to know if it was a M1847 or M1895 buckle would you?
