Letter from FW III to a relative

    Gentlemen,

I do need your help !

Could anybody translate that letter as it is written in Sueterlin

which I can only partialy understand.

Aparently its the response of " Friedrich Wilhelm " granting a 14 days

    leave to Major vom Schloss.

Don't get irritated by spelling the "sharp S " since I am using

an English key board which doen't provide the right letter !

Any help will be greatly appreciated !!!!!

    Thank you

    Wolf

I try to write down the German text of the letter.

Julius 1798

      Friedrich Wilhelm"

It seems that there was a closer relation between "von Schad" and König Friedrich Wilhelm:

Very good item, thanks for showing! 200+ years old letter from famous king! That beats Hitler's and Goering's signatures IMHO!

              Sure it's "von Schad" ?!

The missing word (part) must be "wohl".
