    Wow, it could be a ton of things, to include Garde infantry, regular infantry (corps specific), field artillery (corps specific), foot artillery (white), all pioneers (red), Saxon foot artillery (red), etc.

    If you have a copy of the "Handbook of the German Army", either the 1917 or the 1918 edition, you can find a list under the description of the M1907 uniforms.
