Andy, Don, I agree.

Believe me, I love these enamels and ever since Trev brought me into Imperial EKs the TR era stuff has shrunk, and the Imperial stuff has grown! Thing is, at least at the moment, I can't realistically afford enamels, so I stick with my ugly dumb EKs

There will be a day when I have one of these in the collection. It just might be a while.

I guess the TR EKs are just the marijuana of collecting. They are the "gateway drug" that open you up into the more "hardcore stuff" and the next thing you know, your up till all hours of night searching for your next "score" and your broke

I´m still a poor, young collector myself, so don´t tell me anything about the need of money

Actually I´m not THAT deep in the RAO detail.. I know there is some real danger (due to fakes, exchanged medallions, added swords and so on) but personally I´d only buy from a dealer I trust and where I can send the item back if it really proves to be wrong. Personally I´d ask Mike for help, as he is the specialist for this who is just up do date and has tons of knowledge. I just can´t even decide if I want to have an early piece with "plain" arms or a late one with "corned" arms.. But I guess my personal favourite would be a piece with plain arms, swords and purple eagle and all in good condition But let´s see what time brings. Still need some time to save money so I could buy such an expensive item when it turns up
