    Hello,
Here is a so called chaplains woundbadge. I thought the story was that it was given after WWII? You can still find these in Germany.

I believe you, I just thought that they made these after WWII not WWI and I won't fall on my sword defending it either. Yes, I would like to see the article in German please. You can email it to me at nay7777@yahoo.com.
          Thanks

              A new Screwback Silver woundbadge

              Hi, this beauty arrived yesterday.
Missing the plate, but I think it is silver.
Have anyone see anything like it?

                  Dear CHap 15,

It is my understanding that the so called Chaplains wound badge was distributed after WWII by a monastary in Italy. They were given out to individuals that made contributions to the monostary that had been destroyed in the war. The story is written up in the wound badge book by "H????" (can't remember his last name).

Here's my lone contribution... It's nothing out of the ordinary, but the patina is absolutely gorgeous in person:

This one's blued rather than painted. Nonmagnetic pin and catch but a magnetic hinge.
