    Wound Awards fanatics.

    Hello "Imperial" guys,

I would like to know how many of you have interest for these awards and you like to collect the WW1 WBs.
Please reply to this thread, we need your help.

I am far from a fanatic but I do have a few uncommon variations.

We've got a number of scattered threads all nicely stored in the back pages in here, which it will be easier to search "wound badge" than recreate here-- real silver, screwback, the odd folded catch/hinge patent type, and so on.

      Even award documents, too!

I missed out on a beautiful example of a black WB in an Imperial packet on the e stand Chris, but I've a picture of it anyway for memories sake

I do have a boxed (cardboard carton) gold Imperial badge though, if thats of any use to you ?

I got it from our Rick V, I'm unable to post pic's at the moment for some reason though, it comes up error on page !

        Kind regards,

        Marcus

Hi, Chris, If you mean me, I've got a spiffy decorative doc http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ht=wound+badge , a rather standard one with other docs http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ht=wound+badge ,and another one signed by the Kommandant of Brussels that I'll have to dig out and scan. Here's my only 2 minis. Both fairly run of the mill.

I'd forgotten about this one from the Bavarian 4te. Infantrie Rgt. König Wilhelm von Württemberg. Here's asnother link to a pair of cutout silvers, too. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ht=wound+badgeIf you want I can dig out some pics of them in wear.

                    Chris,

I think that Jens F. and Frank H. have some very fine examples and you may want to talk to them. In the mean time, here's a quick peek at a few that I have posted in the past.
