I have never come across this one before either but the breast feather pattern stands out as something that could easily identify the type should someone stumble upon another example at some point...

This PlM has been in a friend’s position for at least the last 15 years. For this reason it is strange that nobody has seen something like it if it was a recent made copy.
It is also interesting to notice that there is no track of gilding left any more.

Not sure what master jeweler's enamel should look like, but it is defenatly looks better than S&L I had, the gilding and overall finish is much nicer too, the master jeweler's hand I see in letter chasing ...
I think if someone would be making those now days or it is an earlier reproduction we would see it more often, fakes are made to make some profit which requires quantity, not only a couple examples showing up in the past twenty plus years(the guy who Olof got it from had it for about 15 years and the thread was started in 2011). Also I noticed that Olof's example looks kind of worn and beat up a little, ...is that so Olof, do you still have that PLM?
