but my comment is only fore the copying afford done by the copier
copying level off the 1870 general design is good at the backside


if the front wood be the same design level ,,,,it wood be hard to detect ,, as copy

and it go's only fore the core details

I think I agree with Kay on this.
If it wasn't for the fact that the 9th bead fake started showing with several
different makers marks we probably would not have realized it was a fake.
The 9th bead fake looks very convincing and was accepted as an original
up until about 2003.

I have to admit I had to take a second glance at this one. You can see how photos play an important role here. If it was closer up it would have been easier to detect the 5th and 9th bead and just to repeat what has already been said the back certainly does look better. Scary

by the way ,,did you noticed that the front core is just a litle sharper detailed as the backside ?


or is it just the picture ?
