Dave, I cannot believe you don't care when this was done. If this was done recently why would you want to own it? To each there own of course, but modern modification don't do it for me.

Because the price was no more than a standard '14 EKII and honestly mate life is way too short to worry about things like this

I bought it as a curio, something for me to wonder why about that's all.
While I don't believe this conversion was done in Imperial times it does actually show some age, how old it is I don't know.
