Hello, i picked this ek1 up this weekend and i have no idea about the maker , it seems to be brass, both frame and centre, its not magnetic, any help from our members would be appreciated , regards Pete.

its a known variant. I got ground dug one, details are still there as it didn't rust away.

this is an iron cross who is made in the 1920-1930s. the manufacturer is "wilhelm Deumer" lüdenscheid. there are versions with needle and also screwback (we call them "sternschraube"). the version with sternschraube is also existing in the "schinkelform" and was early produced 1939/1940 bevor LDO.
i have an deumer with brass and one with core made of copper. all 3 part magnetic. the needle versions are always vaulted.
