Use of wooden wpns. Putting aside any deception usage this is a wonderful (moving parts) wooden trg MG08/15. Would love to know if anybody has any German images of these in use at Imperial MG/Armourer schools? Mark

Imperial War Museum in London has a wooden camo 08 used in decoy mg positions.
Because yours is a 08/15 and so complete it was most likely used in tactical training exercises but never seen any photos.

Love the strapped bipod mount on the relic gun. Always wonderful to see your photos and pieces. Lets make a time machine together and go back!!
