Odd Ball Two Place Ribbon Bar!!

I realize that this is not a fancy Baden medal or anything, but after showing it to Rick, thought I would show everyone here. Note the interesting way it was mounted. EkII and Hessen Bravery medal ribbons. Enjoy! Mike

Very carefully done, but don't you wonder what the wearer thought he was doing?

The only other one like this I have ever seen I got from Stijn: the outer two ribbon bars are 15 mm width, but the accordion folded center one is probably a piece of the issue 30mm chopped off from the length that came with the medal. This is, by careful poking (it is really FOLDED down! ) for the Schwarzburg MMM or House Order, but the center blue stripe is completely covered this way. since it is not a "mirrored halves" ribbon like Mike's above:

It's on the original type Feldgrau tab backing, introduced during WW1, but found into the late 1930s as "left over" outfitter stock.

Like Mike's, no way to tell if this was a wartime field "make do" or a 1920s cheapo's home altered version.
