Hello to all,
I have this page which is probably out of the personal file of a Hauptmann der Reserve Albert Hüglin plus some documents. These are dated from 1919 and 1920 and as far as I can read and understand the handwritten letters, they are about the personal file (Personalbogen) and Hauptmann Hüglin complained that the file is not complete.
Here is the page, both sides:
So far I can read the most entries here. Hüglin was promoted to Hauptmann in november 26th, 1916.
His awards were:
What was the first award ? L. ?. 2 ( 10.3. 14) ??
The Iron Crosses are clear. The last one is probably the Österreichischer Militärverdienstorden 3. Klasse mit Kriegsdekoration ? What is the decoration before that ? B. Z. 3b m. E. u. S. ????
His campaigns and battles. All the time in France.
He saw service in the fieldartillery, Rgt. 84, A.O.K. 2, II. Armee and later was at the Fieldartillery Rgt. 31 a battallions leader.
He was released in december 1918.
What I would like to know, as always, did he make a further career in the Reichswehr and Wehrmacht. Being a Hauptmann in 1918 could have brought him well to a general later.
Any infos appreciated.
Kind regards
Robert
