EK1 - Screwback disk size and material?

I am hoping that someone could tell me what the disks from Imperial Screwback EK1s are made from and also their dimensions?

The type that I am after is for a "800" marked EK1 that has a brass (?) bolt that screws into a post on the reverse of the cross to hold the disk on - this bolt has a thin, slightly "knurled" head approx 15mm or 5/8" in diameter.

Based on other EK1s with similar bolts I know that the disk is plain in appearance.

Am I correct in assuming that the disk is also made from "800" silver?

Could someone tell me the diameter of the disk and also how "dished" it is (i.e. height when layed flat)?

Also if possible, could someone tell me how thick the metal is?

As you can gather, I have a 1914 EK1 without the disk (my first Imperial EK1 and still my favourite) and am intending to get one made (unless someone has a spare!?!).

If anyone else has a similar type EK1 without a disk and is also interested in getting a replacement then by all means contact me by PM

    I have a similar request.

I have this EK1, identical to the example sold by Detlev below. It is a family inherited item and I would like to complete it. It is missing the round disc. Could anybody with such a type EK1 please tell me the dimensions, thickness, material of that disc?

My favorite Imperial EK1 as well...

These are nice and unfortunately, the large disk is missing from mine as well.

I understand there are many varieties to these disks and not all fit one another so, you need to make sure you get the right one and I heard these are not just laying around. Seems like I remember Eric Stahlhut telling me there is a place that sells modern replacement pieces, but I don't have that information.

Personally, I would rather have an original period piece if at all possible.

          Actually

It wasn't a place that sells replacement pieces. It's a jeweler/silversmith that has done some very good work for another Forum member who lives in Seattle.

Here's another view of the back. I don't know what the disc is made out of, but it's not magnetic. I don't think it's silver. It's 50mm in diameter, .6mm thick, and the "dome" is 4.5mm high.

George, is this .800 marked? Or the unmarked pattern? Tony

                    Dear George,

That is my cross to a T! Mine is 800 marked. Thanks!
It is also missing one "Mutter".

It has one of the sloppiest soldering jobs I've ever seen on an EK.

Here's a closer look at the "800" mark on the cross. This is the only mark on it. There's no mark on the disc.
