I've been watching this also to see where it goes.
I'm afraid that is not going to be very happy.

His eBay name is mush-head66. One of the items he is currently advertising is a WW2 German Panzer Enlisted Man's Insignia Set ; item # 170843451660, on eBay Australia. Are these for real (or does he have a great workshop) I would like to hear someone else's feedback. These eBay fraudsters are lousy scoundrels ( putting it politely)

Ok, don’t know how this comment ended up in this section, ????

              Red Eagle Order Grand Cross

I am not a fan of focusing on fakes, as it is easier to remember the few variations of original (well, if you have access to see them), but here is a typical fake sold during the 80th and 90th. One of the main differences to the real golden originals is the extremely high weight, about 1.5 times that of an original (83.8 grams).

Michael Autengruber gave a very nice speech on German fakes during the 60th OMSA convention in Houston, TX, last month. https://www.omsa.org/an-overview-on-...s-of-chivalry/

                            Imperial Fakes

I’ve seen and am sure I have some of these. An old friend would travel to Germany to visit his sister ( now past ) and he would come back with all sorts of bits and pieces from Estate sales, some which were the real deal, but mostly not of military but civil decorations. Why anyone would fake civil awards, for money I guess, but bloody hell they certainly went to a lot of trouble and half the time they were just plain ****ty looking pieces.
