Doesn't it have a silver stripe down the middle?

I find this part in the 'Additional Infomation' section at the bottom of the auction interesting:
"*The seller makes no warranty, promise or statement that the item comprises original work because the seller is not a licensed expert to make such statements."
So, in a nutshell he's saying, 'I don't know anything about this stuff, but I'm still willing to charge you $36,000 for it, oh......and if you buy it and it turns out to be fake, too bad, 'cause I didn't know either.'

No?
While I know you are commenting tongue in cheek, even if this were an original piece, (and as Marshall said we discussed it here already as a post WWII S&L) it would not be the earliest baroque style. I believe there is an example that dates to 1794 and Ludwig von Boyen's example with Oakleaves dates to 1814. It was made by Baudesson. Stephen Previtera has a pic of that one on page 54. Steve

Nicely translated.

This auction seems to be getting dodgier and dodgier. If the seller is indeed the same person who owns the site http://authentications.info/price.php how can he claim to say that he can't warrant the item's originality, because he is not a expert. IMO if you own a company that makes its money from 'authenticating' Militaria, you'd be in a pretty good position to work out if a piece you were selling on Ebay was the real deal or not.

The seller has scalped whole pages from my website on Gold Party Badges (including photos I have taken of my own collection) and put it up as his own. See: http://authentications.info/fakesDe/goldenParty.php and my own site linked below.
Then he has the nerve to sell fakes of the Gold Party Badge on his sister site, and will provide a COA from himself under another name.
I wrote and demanded he take the section down, but heard nothing, so I have a nice little warning about him on my site.
By the way, his real name according to the WHOIS register for the website is:
