1870 EK1 - TR Made?

Good comments here from some level headed skeptics! 35 years ago was in S&L's postwar copy boom period.

I'm no faith. I would want it for $100. $25 as a good postwar copy from a maker like S&L, OK.

But I await proof from 'the man'.

This is on another post as well..All it's missing is an RZM stamp! If it was TR produced, it would be a nice diversion medal to get only if I had everything else and didn't need the $2000.00 !! Spend your money on the good TR stuff or a good Wagner 1870...

A 20 year old EK1 winner in 1870 (and there can't have been any more than a handfull of them) would be 90 in 1940!! - that's stretching the "replacement medal" theory to its utmost.

This is nothing more than jewellery - and $2000 is lunacy.
