    Is there anybody out there who knows what this is?
    The EK is 18mm.

      Looks to be a German veteran's watch fob for postwar civilian wear.

        There are variations- some have a silvered bullet or artillery shell at the bottom. Others just a cut ribbon. And the enamel ek emblem can have different dates too. Nice one!

          More likely a patriotic piece from 1915. If it was post war the dates would be 1914-1918.

            Could it be a veteran who only was in the war 14-15 and then buy this patriotic pice to his watch ?
            Well who knows.

              I'm sure the guy bought it as a patriotic piece in 1915, assuming the war would be successfully concluded in that year. When it wasn't he probably put it away which is why it is in such good condition, and bought himself a new one which had 1914-1916 on it.
