Different attachments, yes, but I believe they were all made by the same manufacturer: Wagner & Sohn of Berlin.

Hello all,

a read an interesting article yesterday about this spange. The wrap-around type was given out by the medal commision, they were made for the ribbon through the buttonhole. The one with pins had to be bought by the owner themselves and had been attached at the medalbar. Until Oktober 1917 there were awarded 860 spangen.
